Each LSS project is made of Five basic steps, which effectively utilize tools from Lean approach or Six Sigma methodology (ToolBox):

MEASURE: Describes the process and collect data to measure fundamental indicators
ANALYZE: Finds out effective performance gaps root causes
IMPROVE: Designs and verifies the Improvement (structural Process modification)

A Gate Review formal event is required to go on towards subsequent: project Sponsor verifies activities achieved, tools applied and the results obtained compared with goals expected.

Subjects like team working efficiency (responsibility attribution / management, collisions settlement, and so on) and a right / complete project advancement communication are included in a LSS Belt Training.
