LEAN SIX SIGMA

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) for the time being is the most effective methodology to conduct continous improvement projects.

It originates by the Lean Manufacturing Approach integrated with the Six Sigma methodology.
Its application let simultaneously pursue:

increasing in process speed, by eliminating activities lacking added value and by reducing wastes (Lean contribute)
improvement in process quality, by reducing their vaiability (Six Sigma contribute)

Two main reasons let Lean Six Sigma be successfully deployed in every company, even in Italy:

careful improvement selection

Pragmata scores Green / Black Belt Lean Six Sigma Certificate to candidates, as international assignment rules say, only after giving evidence to know Lean and Six Sigma subjects (test) and after nailing 2 improvements projects in the company processes (training on the job).

Lean Six Sigma projects always present a deep analysis on the return of investment to be delevered: a Green Belt project must foresee a 50.000-70.000 euros of economic value added per year, put through in of 6 months at the most; a Black Belt project has a richer economic return, between 100.000 and 250.000 euros, served out in 12 months at the most.

Thanks to George Group co-operation, Pragmata has been achieving one of the first and widest LSS projects in Italy with a Multinational Canadian Group since spring 2004.
